COPAA’s Christmas party raise funds for typhoon victims, UCP members grace event

The Congress of Philippine Associations in Alberta (COPAA) members and guests had a festive Christmas party, December 6, at the Palabok House Restaurant in Edmonton.

COPAA president Jun Angeles thanked the members specially the volunteers and backers for the successful operation of the Philippine Pavilion during the Heritage Festival.

Not only that members enjoyed the food and music at the event that night, they also raised some funds for the typhoon victims in the Philippines.

Minister of Service Alberta Nate Glubish, MLA Tany Yao and Payman Parseyan from the United Conservative Party (UCP) graced the event and spoke to members and guests.
