Congratulations to our columnist, Riana Torrejon, for being chosen as recipient of the Premier Citizenship Award. Riana will receive a letter of commendation for her outstanding work in having dedicated almost 400 hours in community service this school year alone. Riana truly gave her heart; from holding a fundraiser which raised about $5000 dollars to help girls in impoverished countries to chairing for ECSD’s student senate. She was chosen based on her displays of outstanding characteristics in citizenship, leadership, community service and engagement in volunteer work.
