Entrepreneur of the Year Award
This award is given to the founder and/or owner of a small to medium business that is in operation for at least two (2) years. Must be 30 years of age or older. The awardee should exemplify solid financial performance, excellent leadership, personal integrity and influence, innovative and demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit.

This award recognizes the outstanding achievements and exemplary contribution of a full-time senior/management employee to his/her company and the Canadian community and has demonstrated exemplary courage, leadership, vision and innovativeness.

Business Excellence Award
This award is given to a Filipino-Canadian company whose significant business achievements have made an important contribution to the economic and social well-being of Canada.

The ceremonial passing of the GBA sagwan to the next host ambassador, from 2019 GBA Host Ambassador, Judianne Jayme (4th from left), to 2020 GBA Host Ambassador, Annie Chua – Frith (6th from left). The province of Alberta will be hosting and the city to be announced soon. Also joining the ceremony are (from left to right) co-founder Jovito Laungayan Favila and wife Bloomy B Favila, GBA National Ambassador Rachelle Cruz, Judianne Jayme and co-founder Ronnie Dela Gana. Joining Annie Chua-Frith are Michael Siervo, first multi-GBA awardee (2019 GBA Executive of the Year and 2019 World Vision Community Service Award), Alma Armada, Limuel Hayag Vilela (fashion show director), Ida Beltran-Lucila (2019 Gluckstein Excellence Awardee for the Arts and Culture), Herald T.
