Jacky Rocha celebrated her 18th birthday last Nov.24 in the company of her family and friends.

Jun Rocha, the father, said Jacky is their youngest daughter who was born in Canada after they immigrated in 1999. She currently is studying at the University of Alberta.

He said that he hopes that Jacky will be successful in her studies, establish a great career and be able to contribute to the progress of Canada as a citizen.

“We all want the best for our children,” said Jun, a golf tournament organizer during his break from work.
