Filipino Basketball Association of Edmonton (FBAE) commissioner Ernie Buton said they hope to grow this year and attract more teams to join their tournament.

They started with just two squads in 2015 when founder Ruel Linoy decided that they start organizing a league to make their basketball games more exciting.

Six teams took part in the summer league, namely, Palabok House, Loida Lumanlan/Remax, Clearcut, Honda, Park Mazda and 3J Variety.

Buton said they have been planning to have another league in October at the Saville Center.
