Raphael Tolentino was elected the new president of the University of Alberta Philippine Students’ Association (PhilSA), March 22.

Also elected to various executive posts were Beatriz Rubio, Vice-President; Abbie Carlos, Internal Director; Albert Remus Rosana, External Director; Christina Cruz, Director of Finance; Jana Louise Bermas, Director of Communications; Charline Vivas, Director of Events.

After recently organizing the successful “Paint Night for a Cause”, Tolentino said that they willl have a break and in June, the members will be serving in the Filipino Fiesta event.

“Some of our members are not from Edmonton and will be going back to their respective homes and in June, we will volunteer at the Filipino Fiesta,” he said.
