LEDUC — Micos Liquor Store-Leduc Warriors opened their campaign with a 110-74 win by silencing the Assassins, 110-74 in the 2018 PRSAA Leduc Basketball League, March 11, at the Leduc Junior High School, here.

Sweet-shooting Ian Gonzales opened the game with a quick three-pointer from the top of the key off a pass from newly-acquired center Warren Guillen and the boys of manager Alexis Dimaculangan never looked back.

“We love to win and this is a good start for us,” said Dimaculangan whose squad won the title in the last season.

In the other games, the Leduc Hoopers defeated Adessa, 104-73 while Dina Tigasin outscored Wasalak, 64-58.
