Doctors and pharmacists at the Medicus Family Health Clinic and Pharmacy have kept their telephone lines open to their patients.

Medicus clinic manager Joyce Samonte said that their patients can still reach out to their physicians by calling them at (780)757-7713.

“We are currently doing telephone appointments,” she said.

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, patients who either have fever, cough or difficulty breathing are advised not to proceed to the reception’s desk, and instead, to go home and call Health Link 811 for assessment.

Patients, however, who needed prescriptions refilled can call Medicus to have their medicines prepared for pick up.

“This is our request to our patients if they need their meds. Call us first and we’ll ready everything for them for pick up,” Samonte said.

Medicus Family Health Clinic and Pharmacy, the clinic known for its “malasakit”, is a Filipino co-owned clinic established in 2017.
