Lorena Alcantara, husband Bayani and their children have been very busy these days because they will soon be opening a new location of Panciteria de Manila at 12832-137 Avenue NW, Edmonton.

Panciteria is scheduled to have its grand opening on September 8 and they have sent out many invitation letters including one to Mayor Don Iveson.

Faced with a growing Filipino community and Edmontonians, who have become fans of Pinoy food, Lorena and Bayani started looking for a new location and found a new spot that would accommodate more than 200 guests.
“We are just so excited to open and serve our Filipino food fans,” Bayani, who is vice-president of the Philippine Business Society of Alberta told the Alberta Filipino Journal, August 12.
