Faye Sales Edmonton’s Pride In The Search For Mrs. Philippine Ambassador

Filipinos Success’ Stories:
Kaya Ko, Kaya Mo!
If I can, You surely can!

Faye is a Clinical Aesthetician who completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Our Lady of Fatima University in the Philippines. She moved to Canada with her family and made Edmonton home and worked for Misericordia Hospital as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Faye had to work two part-time jobs, one of which was working with mentally handicapped children.

Famous Hollywood actress Audrey Hepburn once said “True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul.” This is Faye Sales’ guiding principle in life.

At a young age, Faye struggled with acne breakouts which made her conscious of her appearance. She invested a great deal in finding solutions for her acne problem and took matters into her own hands when she pursued a career in Clinical Aesthetics in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was determined to succeed, knowing that someday she would have the ability to help people who suffered as she did. In 2011, Faye finally opened her own business called “La Bello”, formerly known as “Le Derma Skin Clinic”. She attributed the continuing success of her business to her loyal clientele and supporters.

She recalls encountering many challenges upon her arrival in Canada, especially setting up her business. These challenges did not discourage her from pursuing her dream and worked extremely hard to the point of working several jobs in order to finance her studies.

It is her passion for greatness and the hunger for stability in life that drove Faye to fulfill her dreams and the ability to pay it forward to those who are in need.

What makes Faye proud of her work is nothing more than a smile from her many customers who love her service and results. She is fulfilled in knowing that she is an instrument of transformation for her clients who wish to build their self-confidence and that she was able to make their day a whole lot better.

Her advice to kababayans who desire to open their own business is “To know your passion, focus on what you want to achieve in life. This will require time, effort and money before you can achieve your goal. Never give up and lose hope, it is part of the process. Learn [about] the business that you want to open, gather as much information as you can and surround yourself with the right people. Most of all, do not forget to give back to the people who helped us and gave us guidance and support.”

Faye is a candidate for Mrs. Philippine Ambassador. She wants to share her journey with the world, her hard work and the things she achieved in life. Most of all, she wants to be an inspiration to women all over the world. She strongly believes that hard work will pay off someday if you set your mind and heart to it.

As a beauty expert, beauty comes in different forms and it is having the confidence, motivation, drive, and courage that gets you to where you want to be in life.

In closing, appreciate and stay grateful to the people who helped and guide you in your journey. True to Audrey Hepburn’s famous line ”true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul”.

Good luck Faye, we wish you all the best. In the eyes of your kababayans, you’re a real winner!
