Nasipitnons For Marjorie Carmona-Newman. Nasipitnons gathered at the Tahanan ni Benjie on March 3 to express their support for the candidacy of fellow Nasipitnon Marjorie Carmona-Newman, who is running for Member of the Legislative Assembly under the United Conservative Party.

Newman could not make it to the gathering after she slipped and needed to take a rest to recover.
The Filipino-Canadians, originally from Nasipit in Agusan del Norte Province, are hoping that Carmona-Newman will win and make history as the first Pinay to be an MLA in Alberta Province.
