PUBLIC ALERT

ICCRC is the national regulatory body that serves and protects the public by overseeing licensed immigration consultants. Its mandate stems from the federal Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

The ICCRC Tribunal has suspended Carlito (Carl) Benito’s and Charles Benito’s license to practice as immigration consultants as of September 18, 2018. They are no longer authorized to advise or represent any new or existing clients on immigration matters.

Carl Mark Benito (Mark) is restricted from working on any immigration files from Triple Maple Leaf Canada (TML Canada Group), World Immigration Group (WIG), or Helping Migrants Canadian Immigration where Carl and/or Charles served as a representative.

If you filed your application using Carl or Charles as a representative, none of the three Benitos or anyone else at the above organizations can continue to represent or advise you.

If you files your immigration application with Carl or Charles, the processing of your application will not be suspended by the Canadian government (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, IRCC), however IRCC will no longer communicate with Carl, Charles or Mark. IRCC will only communicate directly with you. Make sure that IRCC has your current contact information to avoid any delays in the processing of your application. You can also appoint a new representative. For more information about these and other disciplinary actions, visit www.iccrc-crcic.ca
