EDMONTON — Lead organizer Riana Torrejon thanked Quality Sleep Care, Alberta Medical Supplies and Medicus Family Health Clinic and Pharmacy for supporting the highly-successful “For Girls Dance For A Cause” event, recently at the Sejong Multicultural Centre, here.

Torrejon said proceeds will go to the “Because I Am A Girl Movement” of Plan International Canada which is helping empower women around the world.

She said that funds will be used to sponsor girls in developing countries in order for them to “take a step closer to reaching their full potential”.

“Many thanks to QSC, AMS and Medicus for helping us,” said the young Torrejon.
